HALLELUJAH!!!! Here They Come!!!
Once again, the synchronicity that is possible in our natural world astounds me. Just 2 weeks ago, when I knew that soon the Monarchs would begin to find their way back to WI, I checked my traditional resource spots for Milkweed. Since we'd had warm weather, and spring rains early, I assumed I'd find the little green nubs poking out of the earth. None had even 'thought about growing yet!
I was concerned to not find any Milkweed even beginning to poke its head out from the soil except those growing along a south facing wall in a protected area.

Nature is inspirational. Because I spotted my first Monarch last Thursday, May 27th. My neighbor spotted one near our homes yesterday, May 28th, 2010. And I spotted 6 eggs later that evening. So we are off to a new season.
I'M THE MOST HOPEFUL I'VE BEEN IN THREE YEARS BECAUSE THE MILKWEED LOOKS THE BEST, HEALTHY, THRIVING IT HAS IN YEARS AND THE TWO MONARCHS THAT ARRIVED ARE BIG, BRIGHT AND HEALTHY............
