Late afternoon I looked out my east-facing kitchen window & saw a hummingbird (I'd never seen an actual one before)! 3-5 minutes later I looked out my sliding glass deck door facing west and saw another one (same one?), each time for no more than 3 seconds. I was totally delighted!. A day or two later I went out & bought a feeder & hung it. The day after that, either another one or the same one reappeared - haven't seen any since.
