MONARCHS ARE BACK IN NORTH DAKOTA

A local butterfly watcher reported Monarchs in the Fargo area on May 23. We normally expect Monarchs to return to the northern Great Plains in late May to early June. This is an early but not record setting date, the species has been found as early as the May 12.
