Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/29/2010

Number: 1

We have never seen the numbers of Red Admirals, like we have on the yard right now. In a 3 foot circle,I counted 10,meanwhile many more are all over the last of the Lilac flowers and other garden flowers. We also have several Monarchs flitting around.Last year the butterfly population seemed sparse, but things are looking better for this summer. I also had a Mourning Cloak land on my hand and then on my camera lens.
