There are fewer hummingbirds this year. We don't see them at the feeders very often, but know they are here because the feeders are nearly empty after about a week. In previous years we changed the sugar water twice a week at least, and the birds were everywhere.
I see this is a nationwide phenomena. Can anyone explain this? It is somewhat disturbing.
