I saw a beautiful Monarch butterfly at our cottage at Laurentia Beach around noon. It was an extremely windy, but sunny day. The Monarch was feasting on lilac flowers by the side of the road next to the marsh. I couldn't tell if it was a male or a female. What a welcome and enjoyable sight!
