Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/04/2010

Number: 1

Monarchs have arrived and been in small numbers since May 4.  One of
our volunteers is doing some Monarch/Milkweed surveys nearby and has
reported no adults but some eggs on milkweed.  Red Admirals had a very
strong flight in the first 2 weeks of May out on the point, with most
sunny days totals of over 100 at the Tip.
Smaller numbers of American Lady and Questionmark were also involved
at the Tip.
