Monarchs are being reported near Winnipeg but only up to 100 miles to the north and west.
Egg laying is good but they have not hatched yet,because of cool weather, so the next generation is very slow to develop.
I have not seen any sign of first instar 'nibbling' on any leaf - and I am looking every day. It is 2 weeks since eggs were laid here.
