Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 05/28/2010

Number: 1

Update Totals: 67 eggs, 14 Larvae totaling 81. How awesome is that 81 possible monarchs before Labor Day. The most I have ever had prior to this was 80 on Labor Day which was in 2007. I raised & released 367 beautiful monarch butterflies of which 165 were Male & 202 were Female. It was also the year I had the highest mortality rate. I had 34 chrysallis's that died. That doesn't account for the Larvae that died or the Eggs that failed to hatch.
