Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/19/2010

Number: 1

It came fluttering in on a southwest breeze. Some change from last year,as I did not see one here at all. Neither during summer or the fall migration. The only returning songbird I have not seen is the Indigo Bunting nor those wonderful Bats. Other than that all is well. The Rose Breasted Grosbeeks are daining the feeders like crazy. Also have noticed many, many Baltimore Oriloes this year in the area. The Milkweed is just opening up,so they will be happy summer campers.
