I received a report from Joanne Nelson, who lives in Dillingham,AK, that several Rufous Hummingbirds where seen in that area this spring. This is considerably west of the Alaska report you have. She had not heard of your interest and although I gave her information so she could report to you apparently she had not done so. She is associated with the University of Alaska in Dillingham, an accomplished birder, and is about to publish a book on the birds of the area so I have no concern about her report.
