First, the date of sighting is an approximate date. Didn't know I'd be participating in something like this at the time, so please forgive me if my accuracy on the date is a little off. The first time we noticed the robins is when one built a nest on 1 of our 4 front porch lights. She nested the egg and it hatched but something must have gotten to the 1 baby that was there because about 5 days after the egg hatched, the baby & the momma seemed to disappear. About a week later, we noticed another nest going up (built in 1 day!!) on another front porch light. The momma successfully laid 4 eggs which hatched about a week or so ago. Today when I went outside the front door all of the babies flew off the nest. I'm very worried that they will not be able to get back up to the nest since it's so high. They are all still out front but the mom is not a happy camper right at the moment. Should I do anything? Hope I can find the info I need before any damage is done to the babes. Would greatly appreciate any advise. Thanks much!
