I have been seeing fresh Monarchs. Yesterday (6/25) up the Humber I saw 8 Monarchs, 6 at Lambton Prairie, all fresh except for one. Milkweed is abundant here. I'm guessing these butterflies arrived from further south. I didn't note any actual ovipositing by females. I saw some of them resting on milkweed plants though.
