Today was Christmas in June. I checked my milkweed garden, wildflower garden and other milkweed plants on the property and ended up with 38 eggs and 1 small caterpillar! That is way better than any other year so far. I didn't get a glimpse of the female that laid them but I was happy to see that she noticed my purple coneflower, the wildflowers and still managed to notice the large crop of milkweed that I grew in the backyard.
