I have 3 pots of milkweed growing on my patio, which is the only sunny location on my property. On June 4, I saw a Monarch and watched her flit around all the plants on the patio, including the milkweed. After she left I inspected the milkweed and found several eggs. I cut the stems and brought them in the house to my enclosure. They hatched, grew and changed into their chrysalis stage from June 25 - June 28.
