Approx. 5:10pm stand in the front yard across the street talking to a neighbor about Jack Rabbits in their our yards and I looked up and saw what appeared to be a Bald Eagle. It got a little and I yelled for a couple of other people to look at it and they all agreed that's what it was. She (my neighbor) and I then opserved it tuck it's wings back and do a nose dive (very fast I might add). We've never seen one in this area before. A friend of mine said that she swears she saw one earlier this year sitting on the edge of a canal near hear which would have been the area that the one we saw today was flying around. What a sight!!! Man they are FAST!
