Number: 1

Saw my first Danaus plexippus(L) of the season in flight along the Manatawny Creek just above lush green foliage including milkweed and yellow daisies. Also noted a number of robins, immature groundhogs and a large black feathered duck with a headcrest of feathers preening itself among a number of M & F mallards & their ducklings along the creek. Assortment of weeping willw, oak and maple trees along edge of baseball fields.
