On 6/30/10 I found 5 Monarch Butterfly eggs. I have several patches of Milkweed that I have been checking almost everyday and these were the only ones I have found. I do not know what happened to the Monarchs this year. On this date last year they were everywhere.
The day I wrote this post is 07/13/10 and I have found one Monarch caterpillar. The eggs I found previously have hatched and the caterpillars are growing bigger everyday. This brings my total to only 6 for the year.
