I have worked hard to grow milkweed over many years. Friends have laughed thinking this is an ugly addition to my flower bed. I have finally been able to do so but where are the monarchs. I am very sad about this. To date I have seen 1 monarch butterfly this spring and summer. While driving I have been accustomed to see them everywhere. However this has not been the case this year.
