FINALLY had my first sighting of the year!!! I saw a ruby-throated feeding from the trumpet vine, honeysuckle, and a pine tree (presumably drinking the sap from the tree). I'm assuming this was a bird that has been in the area, or is possibly already migrating south. I put two feeders out, but haven't seen it since. Hopefully there are more to come!
