Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 07/27/2010

Number: 1

Things seem to finally be picking up in the southern half of NJ. After a poor start we started to see a few Monarch flitting about last week. Based on the rumor from a friend, I went across town yesterday and collected just over 80 Monarch eggs and 6 cats in several sizes. A female was in our own garden in the morning and left 4 eggs. It seems that now that they are here they are quite serious about repopulating NJ!
