This is one of those be careful what you wish for situations. After celebrating finally seeing my first monarch of the year less than a week ago, I just counted between 50-60 1st and 2nd instar cats collected from my backyard garden. I don't ever remember having this many at one time. Saw a 2nd female depositing eggs while I was collecting some of these. Caterpillar raising mode now in full production!
