I planted different colors of milkweed this Spring. Today, I finally saw a Monarch flying around the milkweed I planted. I was so excited. I have no idea if eggs were laid. I don't know what to look for. Also, today, I set free 4 blackswallow tail butterflys. My dill plant is loaded with the caterpillars. I also see big yellowtails, but when the larve emerge, they are all black with blue. What do the yellowtails lay their eggs on?
