I keep a lot of milkweed growing in my flower beds and along side my garden. I've noticed alot of chewing on the plants, spotted a few eggs. On 8/9/10 around 3:00pm I went out on the deck and noticed the cacoon hanging off the deck railing. I took a few pics. Today 8/10/10 around 8:00 am I went to look at the cacoon and noticed the butterfly, drying her wings. I went back around 12:00 and it was gone. I hope this helps. We live in the country and try to stay organtic.
