Have had a Monarch laying eggs on Asclepius Tuberosa as recently as August 4, 2010. There have been numerous larvae feeding on this bush during the past week or so; two of them are now in the chrysalis stage hanging from a stockade privacy fence near the milkweed bush. They were first observed on August 3, 2010, shortly after attaching themselves to the fence, when they were still in the caterpillar stage.
