Fianlly saw a male with the characteristic red throat. Had never seen a male in three years of observing at my home feeder in Harrisburg PA. This male left the feeder after having a dispute with another male and landed in a tree 6 ft away from me, so that I was able to get a good look at a stationary hummer. Such a great way to start the day!
