Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Number: 1

We are in Ms. Turner's 4th grade class at Summit Elementary School. Our class ate lunch in our room because 1 of our caterpillars was ready to transform into a chrysalis. We were watching it with a document-cam. This is cool because everyone could see really good. It is amazing how it knows when to transform. We thought it was awesome when its skin started to split! It was hilarious when its skin fell off. It was funny when it started dancing around. It made your stomach turn, but yet it was an amazing natural sight to see! We all cheered and clapped as the chrysalis dried!
