I'm in Connecticut and also am having a banner year! I was so worried I wouldn't get enough eggs and caterpillars for school after the terrible tragedy in Mexico, so I started collecting anything I found in July and have already have had 14 butterflies come out. In my kitchen I have 33 caterpillars in jars and in my mudroom an aquarium with four vases of milkweed with eggs and small caterpillars- I don't know how many are there- about 12 I would say! I've already set up my hula-hoop net enclosure in school in anticipation for the first day when I bring some to school! I was just cleaning all the jars and putting in new leaves and had to go out in the rain with a flashlight for more
milkweed- and came in with two big stalks with three more eggs!!! Life is good!
