Our local red-wing blackbirds left here about 3 1/2 wks ago. Also, many of our hummers have left early this year. We had 8 males and 7 females a week ago, and as of yesterday, the 16th, we only have 1 male remaining and 3 females! Normally they leave in significant numbers beginning the last day of August! Maybe we are going to have an early fall!
