Good summer at Newburgh, IN, (lat. 37.95) for butterflies in general and Monarchs.  I've had lots of swallowtails--have not seen a large no. of adult Monarchs but, until this week, I haven't spent a lot of time outside because of temps in the triple digits.  I have seen a good no. of 5th instar cats:  5 on vining milkweed on front porch in pot, 3-5 daily for 2 wks. on a. sullivantii and a. incarnata? in garden.
