Leaves from my pecan tree are falling in earnest. Leaves turning yellow in the pear tree, and the native mesquites turning yellow also. From lack of rain, the grass is all but gone, unless watered daily. Hummingbirds at feeders, new pecans in trees are mature, and waiting for a good cold spell.
