I was watering some flowers at about 8pm when two Ruby Throated hummingbirds buzzed me. They paused in mid-flight to look directly at each other and then they took off again. Funny, they didn't make their usual chirping sounds as they confronted each other. The only sound I heard was the humming of their wings.
