Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/15/2010

Number: 1

This hummingbird had the strangest coloring. I tried to find a picture of it on the internet to figure out what kind it was. Did not find anything.
It was brown with white stripes, pale wings with splash of pink. Very odd looking but the head was exactly like the green hummingbirds I have seen. It flew like a hummingbird and was the same size. I watched it for several minutes as it fed on flowers and flew back and forth to each one.
