We're watching carefully every day to see when the last male is sighted. Last year's final sighting was August 17th, but we saw one this morning (August 19th). Noticed juvenile hummingbirds early this week checking out our feeder for the first time. They inspected the bright red bow at the top, poked around at the glass a little, then finally discovered the holes at the feeder's base and took a drink.
