We are able to observe humming birds through most of the day since our feeders are just outside our big kitchen windows. We are still continually having 15-20 on the feeders through the day. We have also set up a mist type sprinkler near the feeders and discovered that they will perch on the edge of a wire plant support while they bathe in the mist. They really seem to enjoy it. I think it may be giving them some relief from the heat.
