just talking with Colin the grade 5-6 teacher at Sacred Heart. he has never seen so many monarchs in his backyard as this year- he has 13 chrysalids at home and we will tag them when they are ready to go!
last week in Ottawa at the monarchteachernetwork workshop - very few monarchs and cats in the city, but reports of lots along the St Lawrence and down in Presquile. the further west you go along hwy 7 the more monarchs you see.
