We observed five ruby-throated hummingbirds chasing each other around the feeders in our neighbor's yard. They came so close to us we could feel the breeze from their wings. One landed on the feeder above our heads and started sucking nectar. They perched on the tiny twigs in the tree nearby. They made sounds at each other while darting through the trees.
