We have 3-4 Ruby Throats at our feeders that arrived around Aug. 1st. They spend as much time feeding on the Salvia and Zinnias as they do at the feeders. The "Boss" of the bunch is a very aggressive female. She chases away any males or females and the occasional bee or wasp. They are active from dawn to dusk and a favorite form of entertainment!
