Drizzly, overcast and humid, but the sun managed to poke thru occasionally. Several monarchs visited my butterfly bushes today and were not chased away by the resident male. I caught and tagged one, but the others were too quick. I released 3 I had raised, 4 more emerged this afternoon, and it looks like there will be 7 new ones emerge tomorrow! I also have another 20 to 30 in various stages. This has been my busiest summer yet!
