I have a been developing a hummingbird/butterfly garden in my front yard for the past 4 years. This year I installed a hummingbird feeder in the middle of the coneflowers, behind the russian sage hedge. I saw the first hummingbird in my garden while standing at my window. The time was approximately 1:30pm CST. He sniffed at the feeder, circled through the coneflowers and flew to the side garden.
