We have a very active group of Ruby throated hummingbirds here, as all summer; however on this day, I watched two of them do a prolonged "dance", spinning in circles with tail feathers spread - ascending and descending from my deck (with me right there) to up above the roof and back. Usually, we have darting aggression as they "play", but this was something I have never witnessed before.
