It's been a wonderful season of hummingbird-watching, and quite a number of them are still visiting daily. I've been an abysmal "reporter" this season, but this was the first year I've seen more than 2 birds visiting feeders at a time, and have frequently seen pairs of birds in recent weeks doing some impressive flying acrobatics, spiraling upwards together and zipping around an arbor vitae hedge. They've enjoyed the window boxes, the honeysuckle, and the bee balm in particular.
