Mark R and I were back in southeastern Guilford County, NC this morning looking for milkweed species. As in the past, we counted butterflies along the rural roads. We had 5 monarchs in SE Guilford and one in Greensboro.
We looked for caterpillars on the three milkweed species we examined, but didn¹t find any.
