Leaves of the black walnut trees having been turning and falling for over a month here but it seems to be speeding up. Also the fall webworms have been eating them to the stem. Goldenrod has been in bloom since the first week of August and more and more are starting every day. I'm noticing that some trees like the maple are starting to get a bit of color at the tops but it will be a while yet until they color fully.
