Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/25/2010

Number: 1

Our two hummingbird feeders have been visited almost hourly every day all summer by at least two Annas, there may be more, but only two at a time.
In the Spring we had a pair of lovely Allens, glowing like gold jewels in the sun, but they got chased away by the Annas, and now feed in the garden exclusively.
We live on the Russian River, between Redwoods and Riparian woods, and see many birds species: ospreys, swallows, jays, herons, etc.
