A pair of tattered and torn monarchs were mating on a milkweed plant yesterday. They are both not long for this world but are still trying to help bring the numbers up.
I was out collecting leaves for teachers to feed their larvae and ran across the "couple". Finding a random egg here and there but for the most part they are done laying for this year.
