My students have enjoyed watching the ruby-throated humingbirds feed at the feeder outside our classroom window. They have seen many hummingbirds daily at the feeder. I always know when there is a hummingbird at the feeder, because I see several students' eyes focused on the feeder while I'm teaching. Then I stop what I'm saying, and we all observe the hummingbird.
