Yesterday 8/27/10, I saw two hummingbirds come towards me and hover gor nearly 30 seconds very close to me. Then I watched one go over to my crepe myrtle tree about 20 feet away and land on a branch on the tree. I don't think I have ever seen a hummingbird light on a tree limb before. Startled me frankly! Then it was off! This was in the mid afternoon yesterday.
