Today and everyday this week I have seen at least 3 hummers at a time attempt to gain control of the feeder. They whizz around the yard, side to side, back to front, from tree to tree, hiding and then attacking when another hummer tries to feed. It is almost comical. They hover in mid-air, wagging their tails as they buzz each other off. How long will it last? Every morning I get up to check the feeder for activity wondering which day will be the last.
