We still have about fifteen to twenty hummingbirds at our two feeders. Last summer we had twenty; four made it back in May. Those four produced these fledgings, which are now adults. So far they show no sign of leaving. I make a homemade nectar, using organic sugar, which may be why they are in no hurry to leave! They go through two large feeders every 24 hours. I think I must be responsible for the rise in sugar prices.
